Carolyn is the 2024-2025 Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier Secretary. Her goals for the 2024- 2025 League year are to support the President in their goals for this League year, execute the role of Secretary to the best of her ability, and reinforce membership accountability.

This is Carolyn’s 10th year in the league, and she has served as a Between the Lines Volunteer, Ways and Means Research and Development Researcher, MAGIC Volunteer, Provisional Advisor, Provisional Chairman, Project Research and Development Assistant Chair, Project Research and Development Chair, Nominating Committee/Advisor, and ACTIVE Kids.

Carolyn grew up in a household where the JLSB played a prominent role. Her mom is a former President, and Carolyn has fond memories of supporting and attending JLSB events during and after her mom’s tenure. When Carolyn moved back to Shreveport in 2014, after finishing law school and passing the bar exam, she wanted to join a group of intelligent, community-driven women. This volunteer experience has afforded her wonderful, lifelong friendships as well as the opportunity to support her hometown and enrich it for future generations by building relationships with other volunteers as they work together on community projects.
