Community Projects
At the center of the Junior League’s mission is a commitment to serve the community. Each year we research and develop projects with the goal of better serving families at risk. Volunteers are then trained to execute those projects.
For the current league year, we will support the following community projects:
- Artist for a Day
- Health Literacy Initiative
- MAGIC
- Red Apron Pantry
- Super Safety Saturday at Sheriff’s Safety Town
League volunteers provide approximately 4,000 volunteer hours annually devoted to our community projects. Our operating budget of over $300,000 supports the Junior League mission to “promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective actions and leadership of trained volunteers.”
