Shelvia is the 2024-2025 Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier President-Elect. Her goals for this League year are to support our Leadership and members, help raise brand awareness, evaluate our strengths and weaknesses, make necessary adjustments, and to lay the groundwork for the upcoming year.

This is Shelvia’s 11th year in the League. Throughout her involvement in the League, she has served on every Council. Shelvia served three years on the Nominating Committee, including one year as Nominating Chair. She also served as the Communications Vice President and Assistant Vice President, Parishscope Business Manager, Public Relations Coordinator, Between the Lines volunteer, Pumpkin Patch volunteer, and a  Super Safety Saturday volunteer.

Shelvia joined the League after moving back home to Shreveport, inspired by a close friend’s involvement, as a way to serve the community as a working professional. Through the League, she has met so many incredible women, many of whom have become lifelong friends, and she wouldn’t have connected with them if not for the League.

Shelvia is a licensed attorney and owner of Grant Davis Law, focusing on estate planning, succession and probate, personal injury, and social security disability. She is married to Jutorrean Davis, whom she met through community service.
