Designer Bag Bingo will be 10 rounds of bingo featuring nine designer handbags (over $300 value per bag), and the grand prize is a Louis Vuitton handbag!
We are so excited for Designer Bag Bingo! Upon arrival, you can browse our table of prizes and raffle items, grab a drink at the bar, and make your way to your table, where dinner will be served. The real fun begins at 6:30 pm with our ten rounds of bingo. In addition to the handbags, we will feature a $25 Sid Potts Diamond Raffle and a $10 Treat Yourself raffle. Designer Bag Bingo History
The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier’s annual event, Designer Bag Bingo, began in 2018, headed by the first Designer Bag Bingo Chair, Marie Vanderlick. The event was held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at the Centenary College Fitness Center. Since its inaugural year, the event has been held in various locations, including the Horseshoe Riverdoe and Sam’s Town Casino and Hotel.
The Designer Bag Bingo event is a great “girls’ night out” that includes dinner and 10 rounds of bingo. It is tradition that the bag to be won in the final round is a Louis Vuitton handbag. All handbags are donated by businesses or members of the community.
Throughout the history of the event, funds raised from Designer Bag Bingo have gone to support the following projects: MAGIC (Mentoring Ambitious Girls to Inspire Change), Kids in the Kitchen, Bingo at University Health, Health Literacy, Super Safety Saturday at Sheriff’sSheriff’s Safety Town, Safe Sitter, and Artist for a Day.
