24-25 Communications Vice President

Jessica Martin is the 2024-2025 Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier Communications Vice President. Her goal for the 2024-2025 League year is to increase the League’s visibility on all social media platforms.

This is Jessica’s 8th year in the League. She served with MAGIC for a short time during my first attempt at a Provisional year, Kids in the Kitchen SPRING for three years (one as Head Volunteer), Safe Sitter Event Detail Coordinator, Super Safety Saturday volunteer, Provisional Advisor, Communications Assistant VP, and is now on her second term as the Communications Vice President. Although hard to decide, Jessica’s favorite placement was working with Kid in the Kitchen SPING, which holds a special place in her heart. She loved having the opportunity to work closely and form relationships with the most precious kiddos.

For as long as Jessica can remember, she had a strong desire to give back to our Shreveport and Bossier communities through volunteerism, so the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier had always been on her list of organizations to join as soon as she met the requirements.

When not serving on the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier Board Jessica is an educator who teaches English and Theater at Benton High School. Additionally, she serves the school as the Homecoming Court Director, Drama Club Sponsor, and Student Council Cosponsor. Jessica is a mom of three boys – Carter (8), John Henry (5), and Tucker (1), and is a “Team Mom” for both of her older boys’ baseball teams.
