January 14, 2014: THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER WILL HOLD ITS 13TH ANNUAL SHOPPING FOR A CAUSE MARKET AT THE SHREVEPORT CONVENTION CENTER MARCH 13-15, 2014
The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier is gearing up for their biggest fundraiser of the year. The 13th annual Shopping for a Cause Market is March 13-15 at the Shreveport Convention Center, and merchant applications are now available for the premiere shopping experience in Northwest Louisiana. The market attracts thousands of shoppers each year and boasts more than 150 merchants with goods and services ranging from cookware to clothing. With events like the Patron Party, Girls’ Night Out, and Breakfast with the Bunnies, merchants and sponsors will come face-to-face with a diverse crowd of Ark-La-Tex shoppers. The Shopping for a Cause Market makes up a third of the Junior League’s budget and helps fund programs such as Between the Lines, Artist for a Day at the Red River Revel, Super Safety Saturday at Sheriff’s Safety Town, and Health Literacy Initiative.
